Jamie Granet-Bederman is an Emmy Award-winning producer and television veteran who has launched three late-night talk shows throughout her 25-plus year career — rising from booker to producer to showrunner.
Prior to launching JGB Media Co, Granet-Bederman served as EVP of Talent & Alternative at Boardwalk Pictures — the Emmy Award-winning company behind Chef's Table, Welcome to Wrexham, Val: The Al Kilmer Documentary, and more.
She served as Showrunner of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from 2020 to 2022, overseeing all elements of production of the longest-running talk show on television and the #1 late-night program on digital. Under her leadership, The Tonight Show ranked first in the key 18–49 demographic for every episode of the 2020–2021 season — and was the only late-night program to increase total viewership year-over-year for the 2021–2022 season.
During her tenure with Fallon, which began in 2009, The Tonight Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon were collectively nominated for 19 Primetime Emmy Awards. She won a Producers Guild of America Award in 2015 for Outstanding Producer of Live Entertainment Talk Television, served as a producer on the 2017 Golden Globe Awards and the 2010 Emmy Awards, and was twice named to Billboard's Women in Music list. In 2022, she won a Webby Award for the show's viral "Broadway is Back" with Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Jamie was responsible for several landmark productions — including three live post-Super Bowl shows, a special Late Night shoot with First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House in 2012, and a Tonight Show appearance by President Barack Obama in 2016. In December 2021, The Tonight Show became the first late-night program to welcome a sitting president back to the format with an interview with President Joe Biden.
Throughout her career, Jamie has been known as much for her creativity as her relationships. At The Tonight Show, she developed a reputation for finding inventive ways to bring reluctant guests to the desk — crafting custom pitches, unique segment concepts, and personal approaches that turned "no" into some of the show's most memorable moments.
